Judges Named for 2018 AQHA Level 1 Championships

Find out who will be judging the 2018 AQHA West, AQHA Central and Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships. American Quarter Horse Association, February 2, 2018 The  American Quarter Horse Association  has announced the judges for the 2018 AQHA Central, AQHA West and Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships. “Our goal is to bring together an excellent roster of judges for the Level 1 Championships,” said Pete Kyle, AQHA chief show officer. “It is important for exhibitors to know they are being judged by the rules and by a highly qualified group of judges at each show.” The individuals selected as the 2018 Level 1 Championships judges are: AQHA Central Level 1 Championships Rhonda Replogle, Clear Spring, Maryland

Walk-Trot Classes at AQHA Level 1 Championships

The American Quarter Horse Association, January 31, 20178 AQHA walk-trot classes at the AQHA Level 1 Championships will offer newcomers a chance to compete at one of three championship shows. AQHA walk-trot classes are making their debut at the 2018 AQHA  West , AQHA  Central  and  Nutrena East  Level 1 Championships this spring.  Walk-trot classes are the perfect way for eligible exhibitors to get in the arena and gain experience, which goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the Level 1 Championships.  Also new this year, there are no qualifying requirements to show at the  AQHA Level 1 Championships . Stephen Arbaugh Passes

STEPHEN MICHAEL ARBAUGH December 21, 1947 ‒ January 15, 2018 Mansfield, Ohio Lieutenant Stephen Arbaugh was like a brother to many, not just a friend. Every activity in which he participated grew to form a strong kinship: his Sheriff Department Family, his Horse Judging Family, his McDonald’s Breakfast Family, his Golf Family, his Gun Collectors Family, and his Lexington Athletics Family. Steve Arbaugh, age 70, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at his Mansfield farm. He was born December 21, 1947 in Mansfield to parents David Roy & Marjorie Ann (Maglott) Arbaugh. He graduated Madison High School with the class of 1966 and married Gwendolyn Curtiss on March 21, 1981. Lieutenant Arbaugh retired from
