That’s a Wrap: Concluding the 2021 AQHA Convention

The 2021 AQHA Convention was held in an in-person business format in San Antonio to review the Association’s business matters to enhance the Association for members around the globe. The American Quarter Horse Association is an organization that works for its members and holds an  annual convention  each spring. 2021 Farnam AQHA World and Adequan® Select World Qualifying

  AQHA waives qualifying requirements, with an exception for the open-division roping, for the 2021 Farnam AQHA World and Adequan® Select World, due to the impact of the pandemic on qualifying events; traditional qualifying will resume for the 2022 AQHA championship shows. The AQHA Executive Committee has made the decision to waive qualifying for all classes, with the exception of an alternative qualifying requirement for open-division roping classes, at the  2021 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show  and AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), tentatively scheduled for November 1-20 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. The American Quarter Horse Association annual convention is a highly anticipated event for AQHA members around the world. EOQHA September Show Recap

You’d never know that a change of venue due to COVID had any effect on the Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association show held September 4-6 in Springfield, Ohio. The show boasted of 1240 entries per judge and came complete with a Mexican Fiesta Dinner sponsored in part by EOQHA and OQHA and prepared by the Sweet Shop. All the English classes had gift certificates and socks as additional prizes and were sponsored by Glamourous Threads.
