2021 AQHA Convention

The American Quarter Horse Association annual convention is a highly anticipated event for AQHA members around the world. The  2021 AQHA Convention  is slated for March 18-22 at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio and will be held according to local, state, and federal mandates. All members are invited to attend and can now register online . After careful discussions with AQHA leadership and key stakeholders, the AQHA Executive Committee has decided to modify the traditional format of the annual convention to host a business format in 2021. EOQHA September Show Recap

You’d never know that a change of venue due to COVID had any effect on the Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association show held September 4-6 in Springfield, Ohio. The show boasted of 1240 entries per judge and came complete with a Mexican Fiesta Dinner sponsored in part by EOQHA and OQHA and prepared by the Sweet Shop. All the English classes had gift certificates and socks as additional prizes and were sponsored by Glamourous Threads. Wrapping Up the 2020 Ford Youth World AQHA wraps up the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show, which was held in accordance with local, state and federal coronavirus mandates. That’s a wrap on the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show, which was hosted in accordance with local, state and federal coronavirus mandates. The Ford Youth World was held July 29 - August 8 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. AQHYA exhibitors from the United States and Canada competed for 42 world championship, 33 Adequan® Level 2 championships and 39 Nutrena Level 1 championships. 2020 BWHA Classic Recap

2020 was a challenging year for many horse organizations including Buckeye Western Horse Association (BWHA). BWHA placed high importantance on returning to Findlay, Ohio. With many other horse shows being canceled, it did not look good promising. However, members worked hard contacting the county commissioners and the Health Department in order to pull it off. Buckeye Western would like to thank members of the Fulton County Saddle Club for paving the way to be able to have a show. It was good to be back at the University of Findlay’s Western Farm after being away for seven years.
