Photo by: McKenzie Yates for IEA.  April 23, 2016, Lexington, Kentucky   Ellexxah Maxwell wins the Varsity Open Horsemanship class and is named the 2016 Champion Western Rider at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Nationals in Lexington, KY.

  The Ohio Quarter Horse Youth Association (OQHYA) conducted their annual meeting, February 6, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel before the Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA) Annual Awards Banquet.  Thirty-six youth members attended the annual meeting including eight new members. The youth enjoyed pizza and cookies while they brainstormed ideas for fundraising, how to increase youth membership, and community services/outreach programs. Officers and Directors were also voted and appointed. After the meeting, they enjoyed playing “Minute To Win It” games. The OQHYA made an exceptional impression at the Annual Awards Banquet.
