BRS Easter Slide Recap

Show season with the Buckeye Reining Series kicked off with a stellar Easter Slide Show March 31-April 2, 2017. The show featured $12,200 in added money, including the $2,000 added Peeko De Oro Non Pro 7 & Up, two slates of NRHA ancillary classes and AQHA Open, Amateur and Youth Reining and Ranch Riding classes. Class sizes soared as Reiners and Ranch Riders from all across Ohio, six neighboring states and Canada, gathered at the Champions Center in Springfield, Ohio for a weekend of tough competition and tons of fun. The American Quarter Horse Association, March 24, 2017   The American Quarter Horse Association is an organization that works for its members. Each spring, AQHA holds an annual  convention  to review member-submitted rule changes, appoint new AQHA directors, induct members into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame, present year-end awards and elect the AQHA Executive Committee.   Where do you live and with who? Mason Dorsey lives with his mother, father, two sisters, and a brother in Powell, Ohio.   How did you get involved with horses? Mason got involved with horses through his grandfathers. Both of them were involved with horses, which is how he got interested in the animal and the sport.   What discipline/ classes do you show in and why did you choose that discipline or classes? OQHA Names Tordoff, Seanor, and Cecil to new roles In the Board of Directors

OQHA announces that Tordoff, Seanor, and Cecil will be assets to the Board of Directors moving forward following the unfortunate passing of long-term Director and Congress Tri-Chairman Denny Thorsell. Greg Tordoff, a life member of OQHA and a four-year member of the OQHA Board of Directors, was named an All American Quarter Horse Congress Tri-Chairman by the Board of Directors.
