My grandparents, Dennis and Debbie Martin had some horses when I was a baby, and I fell in love. They bought me my first show horse, Alan when I was 5. On the first day of kindergarten, I forgot my clothes for gym and I was very distraught. I was in tears, and then I went and sat next to a girl who was sitting far away from the rest of the class. She asked if we wanted to be friends, and the next week, I went over to her house because she had horses. That was when I was five, and I've been riding ever since. I’ve been riding for as long as I could remember.  What discipline(s)/class(es) do you show in and why did you choose that discipline or class(es)?  I show in the Reining classes. I show in the NRHA Youth Reining 14-18 and the Green Reiner. I also show in the AQHA Youth Reining, and the Level 1 Youth. We had a horse farm in Saline, MI where we bred, raised and showed our Quarter Horses for ten years prior to moving to Ohio. My Grandparents train and race Standardbred horses.
