The Amateurs Give Back

The OAQHA members have been busy this year, donating time, money and items to military personnel that are overseas. Recently, OAQHA donated to the Nethers family. Brandon Nethers is currently stationed overseas, while his wife, Elisa, is at home with their TWO sets of twins!

Here is a note from Elisa:

Hello! I just wanted to say thank you so much for the gift cards, they will help out alot! its amazing how many diapers you can through with two little babies! Haha! My husband, Brandon, and I just wanted to give our thanks. Im sorry that it took a while for me to get in touch with you, its been very crazy around here, as I am sure you can imagine! I wanted to send you some pics of our new wonderful family. Everyone is doing great, the boys will be one month old this Tuesday! Time sure does fly by! Which can be a good thing since Brandon will be back home in Jun... we are all counting down the days till we can see each other again. He is suppost to get back with me on more names of soldiers in his unit. I know anything sent he will hand out to other soldiers. Once again thank you!

OAQHA Extends Military Care Package Project

The Amateur association has decided to continue sending care packages to troops deployed overseas. With help from the OQHA members, we will be able to support our men and women who are serving our country so bravely. If you would like to help, you may bring items to donate to any Ohio AQHA show through the summer. There will be a place to donate items in the entry offices. Don't have time to shop or not attending a show? You can send a monetary donation to the OAQHA and write Care Package in the memo. We have sent many packages already and the response from the military personnel has been very positive.
