Welcome to the Points area of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association web site!

Please note that both horse owners and exhibitors must be current OQHA members in order to accumulate points for year-end awards or youth teams.

OQHA’s point season for year-end awards is April 1 through September 30 of each year. Weekday shows do not count toward year-end points unless they fall on a national holiday.

The American Quarter Horse Association Youth World Championship Show team point period is the Saturday and Sunday of the Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association’s Winter Circuit show in March through May 31. The Congress National Youth Activity team point period is the Saturday and Sunday of the SOQHA Winter Circuit through July 31. Each youth’s ten best shows during the point period will be calculated to determine team members. Please see the Youth area of the web site or refer to the OQHA Official Handbook of By-Laws, Rules and Regulations for additional team qualifications.
