NOQHA Spring Extravaganza Wrap Up

Summer is approaching and that means show season is in full force with several shows completed and several more on the horizon. The 2017 Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Association (NOQHA) Spring Extravaganza is yet another show in the books for Ohio Exhibitors and the end of the qualifying period for OQHA.

 

Throughout Memorial Day Weekend large classes formed as new and familiar exhibitors lined up to show in front of judges Will Knabenshue, Jonathan Meilleur, Keith Miller and Jennifer Thompson, and Novice judge Kat Zelnio.

 

All-Around Youth and Amateur winners of the novice show won saddles while the small fry took home trophies.

This year’s well-attended Novice clinic was held by Darlene Trein on showmanship.

 

Exhibitors were treated to a pizza party Thursday, May 25 and an ice cream social Saturday, May 27.
