2019-21 Adequan® Select World Shows Move to Fort Worth

The American Quarter Horse Association, April 10, 2018 The American Quarter Horse Association has named  Will Rogers Memorial Center  in Fort Worth, Texas, as the new location for the 2019, 2020 and 2021  Adequan® Select World Championship Show.   The tentative dates for the 2019 Adequan® Select World are August 21-31. 2018 Buckeye Reining Series Easter Slide Recap

The Buckeye Reining Series kicked off their 2018 show series with large classes, new champions and even some Easter celebrations March 30-April 1, 2018 at the Champions Center in Springfield, Ohio. The event drew exhibitors from near and far as each vied for the bevy of prizes and more than $13,000 in added money. Although each class had its own prestige to win, the Peeko De Oro Non Pro 7&Up was the featured event Saturday evening. The class offered non pro levels 2 and 4 as well as a youth division and included 70 non pro competitors and their horses. Gabriella (Boo) Kammerer aboard Gunners Star, owned by Bill Bradley, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, scored a 220 to sweep all three divisions of the 7&Up and the Limited

New OQHA Mountain Trail Classes

The Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA) has allocated funding towards prizes and recognition for High Point awards in 12 new classes of the  International Mountain Trail Challenge Association events held at  Creek Side Horse Park in Waynesburg, Ohio in 2018. OQHA will be opening these awards to ANY BREED of horse that earns the most IMTCA/OQHA points and finishes in the top three for each class. The classes will include youth and adult riders who compete ‘In Hand’ and ‘In the Saddle’. The rider must be a member of OQHA at the time of showing to accumulate points but does not have to own or ride a registered Quarter Horse. The event totals are in – these were the top AQHA shows and circuits in 2017. American Quarter Horse Association, February 25, 2018 From early spring in Oklahoma City to the tail end of the year in Florida, AQHA members turned out in droves to support shows and circuits across the United States. The American Quarter Horse Association, January 31, 20178 AQHA walk-trot classes at the AQHA Level 1 Championships will offer newcomers a chance to compete at one of three championship shows.
