Ohio Amateurs Well Represented at AQHA Convention

This year’s AQHA Convention was held March 11-14 at the incredible South Point Hotel and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas. Our Ohio Amateurs made sure what happened in Vegas didn’t just stay in Vegas. Each of the five members who attended were active in the marketing and show committee meetings, as well as supportive of AQHA’s Foundation and PAC benefits. $20,000 OAQHA Pledge to the Ohio Quarter Horse Foundation

$20,000 OAQHA pledge to the OQH Foundation. The Ohio Amateurs were the first Amateur Association formed within AQHA some 40+ years ago and have been a division of OQHA ever since. That history runs deep in our veins and is something we are very proud of. We would not be the Ohio Amateurs without the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. That is why the OAQHA members have decided to show our commitment in a major way. We are pledging support over the next 10 years to the Ohio Quarter Horse Foundation to the tune of $20,000. It is our way of showing we believe in the mission statement of the foundation and that we are in this with OQHA for the long haul.
