OQHYA Raffles off a Harley
2011 Ohio Youth Raffle

Last year the Ohio youth raffled off a "Congress Package" and made over $4,500, however the participation from the youth was very poor. This year's raffle is designed to reward those that want to participate. Because we have members that don't show, have just started showing, or will not be competing at the Youth World or Congress this year, the rewards for selling tickets will appeal to everyone. Below, please find the different ways you can benefit from participating in this year's raffle:
World Show Qualifiers:
Every youth that completed the 2011 OQHYA requirements and earned a spot on the OQHYA World Team nationally or through the state and is planning to go to the World Finals will receive a stipend check in the amount of $350.00. For every ticket sold, $3 will be added to Ohio's world show exhibitor's stipend amount. I.E. 50 tickets sold =$150 credit + $350 stipend = $500. There is no limit on number of ticket dollars to be added to stipend amount. STIPEND CREDIT DEADLINE will be July 24th, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Money and tickets must be turned in by date (not postmarked).

Stall and Entries are only for youth selling tickets. Non-transferable. Entries are for AQHA Youth and Novice Youth classes only. No other classes. TOP SELLER DEADLINE will be August 21, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Money and tickets must be turned in by date (not postmarked)
Additional Information
- Tickets are $10.00 each
- Winners do not have to be present to win
- Drawing will be during NYATT ceremonies at the Congress
- All Checks are to be made payable to OQHA (memo: Youth Raffle)
- Tickets will be distributed in bunches of 50 (stapled in books of 10)
- Maximum number of tickets to be given out at a time will be 100.
- When tickets and money are turned in, additional tickets will be given
- Jamie Watson and Kelli Diaz will distribute and collect tickets.
- Make sure your name is on all tickets turned in. Ticket counts will be taken from "Seller's Name" on ticket only… no name.. No credit!
