2012 OQHA Queen Contest
The Ohio Quarter Horse Association is looking for an Ohio Queen for 2012. Applications will be accepted by the OQHA Queen Committee beginning today (January 20, 2012) through Monday, January 30, 2012.
The contest will consist of a written essay, Western Horsemanship video and an interview. The interview will take place Friday, February 3rd at the Ramada Plaza Hotel (4900 Sinclair Rd, Columbus, Ohio). The crowning of the 2012 OQHA Queen will take place at the OQHA Year-End Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 4th at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.
How To Apply
To apply for the 2012 OQHA Queen, please submit the materials listed below to Jaymie Drury at shortcakerdh@gmail.com no later than Monday, January 30, 2012.
1. Completed Application - Click here to download.
2. Written Essay - The essay will be approximately 500 words defining Versatility Ranch Horse in accordance with the AQHA Handbook.
