OQHA Members Now Co-Owners of The Invitation
Jeff and Heidi Palmer of Bowling Green, Ohio, along with Jestin and Tiffany Shank, purchased The Invitation, a 1997 Bay Stallion by Invitation Only and out of world champion producer, Ms Hot Medicine. The Invitation's accomplishments include an AQHA Superior in Western Pleasure, NSBA money-earner and 2010 Congress Champion Sire.
"We are excited to have a stallion of this caliber," said co-owner Jestin Shank. "With his great mind, wonderful movement and strong conformation he will be a great asset to our farm and breeding program."
Previously owned by Susan and Stanley Scott of Haylo Farm (2006 AQHA Breeder of the Year), The Invitation will stand at McDuffee Quarter Horses in Ocala, Florida. The facilities at McDuffee Quarter Horses have served many great sires over the years, including Rugged Lark.
"He's a great addition to our stallion barn," sad Don McDufeie, owner of McDuffee Quarter Horses. "I've watched his offspring for years and they are balanced movers with great minds."
The Invitation's stud fee is $1,750, which includes chute fees. Multiple mares may be eligible for $1,000 each.
