Carol Siegle Tincher, mother of OQHA Director Brent Tincher, Passes

Carol Siegle Tincher passed away February 28, 2012. She was the daughter of Susan Wichard and William Siegle of Ross. She married Jack L. Tincher on August 25, 1950. They were married sixty-two years. Carol graduated from Ross High School and then Miami University with a B.S. in Education. She taught at Ross, Hamilton and Talawanda City School Districts. She retired in 2006 after teaching school for 32 years. She leaves behind her husband, Jack and three sons Jack Randall, of St. Louis, Kevin Brent, and Marc Alan both of Oxford. She also leaves four grandchildren Dustin Ross Tincher, Ashley Brynne Tincher Ketner, Jack Randall Tincher, Gabrielle Suzanne Scout Tincher all of Oxford. She leaves great grandsons Tristan Nicholas and Jackson Rhys Tincher. Her son Phillip Scott preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her siblings Fern Siegle Fisher, Mary Ellen Siegle Fishwick, Faye Siegle Andrews, Don Siegle, and Joseph Siegle. Carol was a member of the Oxford Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family and teaching children to read. A memorial service is being planned for a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to Kramer Elementary School, 400 W.
