OQHA

Incentive Fund

The Ohio Futurity Bonus Incentive Fund (OFBIF) is a program developed by OQHA to reward Quarter Horse breeders and help sustain the network of futurities that already exist within the state of Ohio. The Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association, Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Association and Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association each host an annual futurity. The OFBIF adds money to specific classes held at these futurities.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible, owners AND exhibitors must both be current members of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. A nomination form and a copy of the horse’s registration papers must be submitted to the OQHA office no later than August 15th. Owners do not need to be classified as breeders by AQHA and horses do not need to be bred or born in Ohio to qualify.
