Awards Banquet
OQHA offers an extensive year-end awards program for members participating in AQHA Open, Novice Amateur, Amateur, Amateur Select, Novice Youth and Youth classes at OQHA-approved Quarter Horse shows held throughout Ohio between April 1st and September 30th of each year. More than $65,000 in awards are presented each year to top competitors in each class.
2012 Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet
The 2012 Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, February 4 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.
2012 Itinerary:
11:30 am - OQHYA and OAQHA Annual Meetings
Noon - OQHA Annual Meeting
Immediately following the OQHA meeting, there will be a Happy Hour for all members and guests that will have complimentary bar and hor'doureves.
5:00 pm - Dinner, consisting of 6 oz. filet, grilled salmon, buttered parsley potatoes, green beans with almonds, pre-set salad, assorted rolls and German chocolate cake.
We will be auctioning some very nice items throughout the presentation of awards. Immediately following awards, a DJ will be set up with karoke for your entertainment into the evening.
Ticket prices are only $25.00 for Ages 13 & up / $20.00 for Ages 6-12 / Free for Ages 5 & under.
Dinner reservations can be made by downloading the form on this page and returning to the OQHA office at PO Box 209 / 101 Tawa Rd, Richwood, OH 43344 no later than January 27th.
Annual Meetings
Every year, on the first Saturday of February, OQHA, OAQHA and OQHYA hold their annual meetings at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Amateur and Youth meetings begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the OQHA meeting at noon. Election results for all three organizations will be announced, along with a recap of the entire year.
Awards Banquet
The OQHA Year-End Awards Banquet is held the first Saturday of February at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for dinner, followed by the awards presentation and live auction throughout the evening. Guests are invited to stay after the awards for mingling and dancing.
