OQHA has compiled a list of horse boarding, horse training and horseback riding lesson facilities across Ohio. These facility listings are provided as a free service by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. Information listed here was provided by the proprietors and was not checked for accuracy. A printed directory of the facilities is published each Spring by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. Full board available to students only; breaking and training of outside horses; western, English, dressage and jumping lessons available on stable-owned and rider’s own horse. Facility is leased for horse shows. Large indoor arena with attached warm-up area, seating for 1000, ample space for parking and stabling. Large outdoor hunt field that can accommodate horse show set-up. Limited camper parking spaces, primitive.
Primary events: hunters, jumpers, dressage, eventing
Boarding fees: $425 full care, to students only
Lesson fees: $35 group and up, depending on instructor
Training fees: student-trained as part of course work, $425/month includes board and training
Maximum number of horses: 150
