at the time entries are made, as well as from exhibitors making
a late entry at the Congress (for a horse not already entered
in the show). OQHA is not responsible for disputes between
horse owners and agents regarding stall fees. Agents will be
responsible for all fees.

A $30 late fee will be assessed for any stall fees not paid at the
time entries are made.

Entries will not be processed until stall fees are paid.

available as follows:

Horses not participating in Cutting or Reining events that do
not have pre-assigned stalls may obtain stall assignments at
the Stall Office beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 10.
The Stall Office will operate 24 hours per day from this point
through the end of the show.

Stalling Options
Reining Exhibitors Only

Exhibitors participating in Reining events only can request
pre-assignment in tent stalls for a $250 fee, or receive stall
assignment upon arrival at the Congress on a first-come, firstserved
basis at a $150 fee in the tents. Tent stalls will be built on
elevated blacktop to ensure dryness.

Exhibitors who are not participating in Reining
or Cutting events have the following options:

1. Request for Pre-assigned Stalls
Those wishing to stall their horses in the Gilligan, Ag &
Horticulture, Voinovich and Buckeye barns need to return the
stall assignment ticket. Use this ticket ONLY if you will arrive
prior to midnight, Tuesday, October 14. These stalls are $350
per stall.

The stall assignment ticket and $350 stall fee must be
returned with the horse show entry blank.

Exhibitors requesting, but not obtaining, stalls in any of the
assigned stall barns may choose to have stalls pre-designated
in their choice of remaining stall areas at a stall fee of $250.
The $100 difference will be refunded UPON REQUEST at the
Congress.

Exhibitors may call (614) 294-9999 between Monday,
September 29 and Thursday, October 2, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. EST to find out the location of stall assignments in the
Gilligan, Ag & Horticulture, Voinovich or Buckeye barns. At
this point, if an exhibitor was not stalled in any of these barns
as requested, they may choose another area.

Exhibitors who request pre-assigned stalls but fail to call will
forfeit their right to pre-assigned stalls. Exhibitors who place
horses into stalls prior to 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, will
forfeit their eligibility for the 2009 stall assignment process.

2. Receiving Stalls Upon Arrival
Exhibitors not requesting pre-assigned stalls will receive their
stall information upon arrival of each horse on the grounds.
The fee for non-pre-assigned stalls is $150 per stall.

3. Stall Re-assignment
Stalls in the Gilligan, Ag & Horticulture, Voinovich and Buckeye
barns may become available after Tuesday, October 14. Stop at
the Stall Office upon arrival for possible options.
Stalls not being used will be reassigned if a stall shortage
occurs

Stall Decorations
All electrical appliances and electric usage must be approved by
the Barn Manager.

Exhibitors/Agents are discouraged from using tile flooring with
stall decorations. If tile flooring is used, the exhibitor/agent is
responsible for removal of tiles. Exhibitors who do not follow
this rule will forfeit their eligibility for the 2009 stall assignment
process.

According to the State Fire Code Requirements, if an agent’s stall
decorations include covering the top of the stalling area, the
agent must have a smoke detector and a small disposable fire
extinguisher in their tack area. Detectors and extinguishers are
available for sale in the Feed and Bedding office for $5 each.

Stall Release Form
All horses must have a stall release form from the Stall Office,
except on Sunday, October 26.

If a leave and return stall release is issued, you will not be
guaranteed the same stall upon returning. Please check at the
Stall Office to see if the same stall is available.

Pre-Show Stall Bedding/Stall Orders
Exhibitors who are submitting the stall assignment ticket for
stalls in the Gilligan, Ag & Horticulture, Voinovich or Buckeye
barns or Reining Tents may pre-order bedding and boards for
their stalls at the Congress by completing the attached ticket
and sending it in with Congress entries. Two boards are required
for one box stall. (Boards are placed under the bedding to
provide additional cushion on the concrete stall floors.)

This ticket does not guarantee stall location.

Prices of bedding and boards were not available to be printed for
this publication, but will be available at the Congress.

Please note: exhibitors who are not participating in the stall
assignment will be able to obtain bedding upon arrival at the
Congress. Exhibitors can bring their own bedding, but it cannot
be delivered by a vendor other than the official feed and bedding
contractor.
