Come to Cowboy Church at the 2007 All American Quarter Horse Congress
Even cowboys need to have time to worship, and the All American Quarter Horse Congress, October 6-28, 2007 at the Ohio Expo Center, will offer four worship services during the three-week show.
Since 1967, the Congress has provided non-denominational worship services to attendees during the show. Congress exhibitors and spectators can feed their spiritual life with other horse-loving Christians while the at the Congress thanks to Christian Horsemen Announcing the Message of the Precious Savior (CHAMPS).
Services will be held on Sunday, October 14, October 21, and October 28, at 9:00 a.m. in the DiSalle Auditorium. A special Youth Celebration service will also be held on Friday, October 19, during youth weekend.
The All American Quarter Horse Congress is sponsored annually by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA). OQHA is a state Quarter Horse association with 2,000 members and is a state affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). Located in Richwood, Ohio, OQHA’s mission is to promote the registered American Quarter Horse. OQHA sponsors state year-end awards, a breeders incentive program and a youth program that supports two youth teams and provides eight scholarships. OQHA also supports state 4-H and FFA programs as
well as equine research and education. OQHA created the All American Quarter Horse Congress in 1967.
