Congress Masters Weanling Halter Classes
Congress Masters Halter event slots were sold at the 2006 Congress. Slots were available for a one-time purchase only and are no longer being sold. Slot buyers purchased either a Weanling Filly or Weanling Colt/Gelding slot. All slot owners are required to pay a $3,000 nomination fee due January 30 of each year. Slot owners must declare their horse and exhibitor by August 15. Slot owners own the slot for their event(s) for life. Some slot owners lease their slots on an individual basis.

The Congress Masters Halter paid out approximately $15,000 to each class winner in 2007, and $5,000 to the highest placing exhibitor who is eligible for the Limited division of the Congress Open Halter events.

Horse show exhibitors who wish to try to lease a slot, or would like to be placed on a waiting list for any slot that falls unpaid, should contact Rhonda Harter, Congress show secretary, at 740-943-2346, ext. 128.

The 2008 Congress Masters Weanling Colt/Gelding event will be held beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13 in the Coliseum. The 2008 Congress Masters Weanling Fillies event will be held beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11 in the Coliseum. There is no separate ticket required for admission to the Coliseum for the Congress Masters Halter event.
