Equine Chronicle Masters Western Pleasure Class Print E-mail

Congress Masters Two Year Old Western Pleasure slots were originally purchased in 2004. Slots were available for a one-time purchase only and are no longer being sold, however all slot owners are required to pay a $4,500 nomination fee due January 30th, and $500 sustaining fee due June 30 each year. Slot owners must declare the horse by April 15 and the exhibitor by October 15 each year. Slot owners own the slot for their event(s) for life. Some slot owners lease their slots on an individual basis.

The Congress Masters Two-Year-Old Western Pleasure guarantees $100,000 to the class winner and $5,000 to the highest placing exhibitor who is eligible for the Limited division of Congress Western Pleasure classes.

Horse show exhibitors who wish to try to lease a slot, or would like to be placed on a waiting list for any slot that falls unpaid, should contact Rhonda Harter, Congress show secretary, at 740-943-2346, ext. 128.
