Have you shown at the Congress before? Yes, I made the finals in Showmanship in 2005 and 2006.
How long have you been showing? I have been riding and showing since I was 11 years old (I’m 22 now).
Do you show with a trainer? Yes, I show with Melissa Shetler from Saegertown, PA.
How was your Congress experience? It’s surreal. I never dreamed I would win the Congress, let alone on a two-year-old.
Tell us about yourself: I work in banking and I am also going to school for a business/accounting degree.
Tell us about your horse: He is such a sweetheart. He was broke in March after spending two years in a pasture. He just learned everything so fast and I started showing him in July in the two-year-old futurities and Hunter Under Saddle.
What are your goals for the future? He was purchased at the Congress by Carl and Trisha Yamber. I hope he goes on to do great things with them!
