Horse Show
Each year the Ohio Amateur Quarter Horse Association hosts a Quarter Horse show, which includes a full showbill, cook-out and team tournament. We strive to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere for exhibitors and spectators alike and encourage everyone to come join us for a wonderful horse show weekend.
2011 OAQHA Horse Show Information
Originally scheduled for April 30th and May 1st, the 2011 OAQHA Show has been postponed due to weather. We are working with both AQHA and Roberts Arena in Wilmington, Ohio to reschedule. Please check back soon for more information!
2011 Showbill
This year’s show features a full list of classes, beginning with speed events in the morning, followed by showmanship, halter, hunter under saddle, equitation, western riding, reining, horsemanship, pleasure and trail. To view the complete show schedule, please click here.
Entry Fees
Fees are for the entire day and are per judge with the same horse/rider combination.
Novice Youth and Youth: $30
Novice Amateur and Amateur: $30
*Novice exhibitors may cross over into Youth or Amateur classes for ONE $30 fee!
** Special Fee for those entering Green classes: You may cross over into respective open classes for $1!
*** PAY $150 for UNLIMITED CLASSES for one horse over the entire weekend, with the same back number. Includes ONE Stall. Does not include office fees or AQHA drug fees.
Office Fee: $5/Horse/Judge
Drug Fee: $5/Horse/Judge
Grounds Fee: $15/Horse/Day
Trail Equipment Fee: $5/Horse/Show
Stalls: $60
Shavings: $6.50/Bag
Camping: $30-Friday Only; $50-Weekend
