BWHA Classic Horse Show - July 17-19 is HAPPENING

The BWHA Classic Horse Show , July 17-19, at the University of Findlay, Western Farm is happening! Please be aware that the camping spots will be limited. If you already sent in a reservation for stall and/or camping and won't be able to attend our show, please contact Melinda Mueller, horsemel123@gmail.com .   Check the  BWHA FB page , frequently,  and Like it (if you haven't already) to keep aware of updates to the show.  BWHA will be adding links to their website regarding health and consent forms that will need to be filled out and handed in, at the welcome tent.  BWHA is excited to see you all July 17th!

OMIQHA Summer SunSation was a HUGE show

The Summer SunSation show was a huge, very deep show, one of the biggest , best shows around! OMIQHA had very big classes, Trail had 186 goes, L2 Youth Western Pleasure had 35 goes, L1 Amateur Western Pleasure had 48 goes, L1 Amateur Western Horsemanship had 49 , with the 14-18 Western HMS had 45 in the class. Showmanship was huge, the L1 Youth SMS had 68 in the class, with the Amateur side having  50 in their class. Halter had a good representation of Youth Aged Geldings of 16, Amateur Aged Geldings had 17, Performance Geldings held out at 23 and 17 between the Youth and Amt. Hunter had great numbers also with 44 L1 Youth HUS showing, the Amt. side showed 38. Equation was slightly lower, but still good numbers inspite of the

OQHA Picnic - Cancelled

The OQHA Annual Membership Picnic scheduled for June 15th has been cancelled. Open Board of Directors will still have a June meeting rescheduled for June 22nd at 7 pm at the OQHA office. This will be limited to board members only in order to practice social distancing.

Fulton County Saddle Club Doubled Last Year’s Show

Fulton County Saddle Club doubled last year’s show with people just happy to be at a horse show again. Selling 230 stalls and 73 camping spots. Exhibitors came from New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, bringing 1,204 entries this year with 240 Open, 186 Amateur, 378 Youth, 134 Novice, and 201 Novice Youth. The largest class was Youth Showmanship with 43 entries. They had open added money jackpot classes that were well received. They gave away seven high point all-around awards. The winners received a trophy donated by Greg & Marty Holden and a $50 gift card to Rod’s donated by the Fulton County Saddle Club. NOQHA is saddened to announce the cancellation of NOQHA Summer 6 Pack due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Pre-paid stall and camping checks will be shredded. AQHA Congratulates Show Leaders

High-point standings for 2019 are finalized and the all-around high-point horses and exhibitors are named. The American Quarter Horse Association recognizes hardworking individuals and their American Quarter Horses at the end of each year through the Association’s  high-point awards . AQHA annually recognizes the top point earners in each division of every AQHA event. Horses are recognized in the open division, junior and senior; youth and amateurs competing with any one horse are recognized in their respective divisions.
