General Rules
Payment Policy
Entries must be paid by one form of payment (check, money order or credit card) for the entire entry packet. Multiple checks, money orders or credit cards are not accepted. Listed fees are the discount for cash and check paying customers. Credit card charges will require a 3% office fee.
Entry Deadline
All Congress horse show entries must be postmarked by August 25, 2013 and received within three business days. (The only exceptions are cutting entries, intercollegiate/junior judging, horse bowl, hippology and communications entries.) It is recommended that horse show entries be sent certified mail. The show secretary is not responsible for lost or late entries and is unable to verify receipt of entries due to the volume of mail received. The show secretary sends a postcard acknowledging receipt of entries to all Congress horse show agents.
Horse show entries should be mailed to:
OQHA
PO Box 209, 101 Tawa Rd
Richwood, OH 43344-0209

Late Entries
Late entries are accepted at the horse show entry office in Congress Hall during the show only and cannot be mailed to the Richwood office after the August 27th deadline. The penalty for all AQHA-approved, NSBA dual-approved, NRHA-approved or Small Fry classes is $300 per class plus all regular fees. The penalty for all Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Longe Line and Working Hunter Classic stakes classes, the Non-Pro Reining Stakes and the Cinch Tie-Down Classic is double the entry fee.
